Whispering Pines

Thanks again for such a great race, Dave! It was tough but beautiful. Loved how they cheered you on by name at the aid stations too. Loved the organic cotton/bamboo shirts & that you guys went green by not having paper cups. Everything was perfect! Looking forward to another soon.

Can we donate 25, 50, 100 pairs?!?

Take a look in your closet and see what you find.

You can learn more about Soles4Souls here.

Thanks to John Shafto for his support in organizing this.

CUP-FREE AID STATIONS: Since our very first race in 2011, we have beeen a cup-free racing event! In an effort to reduce our environmental impact (garbage creation, volunteer garbage pickup, etc), all aid stations will be cup-free. Please bring your own water bottle or hydration system. Yeah Earth! :)

See Cup-Free Racing Support for a list of hydrous options to support this transition.

PACKET PICK-UP / CHECK-IN: Race morning! We will be excitedly waiting. :)

ACCOMMODATIONS: A variety of campsites can be found at Tyler State Park.

Campsites closest to the race start/finish (Group Pavilion #3) include Cedar Point and Lakeview camping areas. It’s a fairly small park so all campsites are close and will only require a short drive, at most.

If the state park is full, Jellystone Park is four miles away.

The cities of Tyler and Lindale have a variety of hotel options that are close by.
