Rough Creek Trail Run – Lookin’ for a Few Good Volunteers

Summer is quickly nearing an end (can you believe it?!?) and that means our Rough Creek Trail Run is quickly approaching!

We are getting ready for the Rough Creek Trail Run on the beautifully rugged and cruisin’ terrain at Rough Creek Lodge and Resort in Glen Rose, Texas.

The scamper is on Saturday September 14 and will have a half marathon, marathon, and 40 mile trail run. It will be a one, two, or a three loop adventure.

We are putting together our volunteer tribe all-stars that will primarily consist of packet pickup race morning and aid station support (we will have three of them).

If you have any interest and are available to help our tribe reach their goals on the day…and have a hearty amount of outdoor fun, we would love to hear from you!

As always, we will have yummy lunch and you will grab yourself transferable discounts to future EBA events (details: I love giving out volunteer discounts or free entries!! 🙂

I will also have a couple campsites reserved at Dinosaur Valley State Park (in Glen Rose) that will be FREE for our volunteer tribe (Friday and Saturday night depending on needs). Just let me know if you have any interest in that.

If you would like to be involved:
1. Simply let me know through the EBA Contact Page (make sure you enter a valid email address or I won’t be able to respond to you).
2. Mention a rough time-frame you would be available.
3. Provide a contact number for race weekend.
4. Mention if you have interest in camping at Dinosaur Valley State Park on Friday, Saturday, or both Fri/Sat.

Our events are a direct result of the amazing support of our volunteer tribe. Thank you for your support.

Have a wonderful week! 🙂
